How I practice psychotherapy?

The most important aspect of psychotherapy is the relationship with the therapist. Working through conflicts or past pain needs to happen through experiencing, not just through merely reading or thinking about things.  Gaining self acceptance and discovering how to bring an open heart to your family or intimate relationships does not come simply from acquiring an insight, or from reading a "how to" book.  This doesn’t mean that some books aren’t helpful because they are.  But it all starts with the healing relationship...and the only way you will have any idea about what kind of relationship you might have with a therapist and how comfortable you might feel with them is to make contact with them in person.

Feeling better about yourself takes time and hard work, but through therapy you gain a better appreciation of yourself with a non-judgmental therapist.
