Cary Lee Hanes, MSW
Cary Lee is a resident in social work under the supervision of Sarah Duffy, LCSW. She has worked with clients with bipolar, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and substance use issues. She has experience in trauma-informed care with all ages, but specializes in meeting the unique needs of youth ages 10 to early 20s. Cary Lee understands that just taking that first step to seek help and trust someone with one's innermost self can seem overwhelming. She works on building that critical relationship with her clients to create a safe space and to empower them. She helps her clients discover new perspectives and solutions that build their confidence, and give them hope that they can make a change. She focuses on a strengths-based approach and uses different modalities, such as psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapy, to meet her clients where they are in their journeys.
Cary Lee works at our Reston office.
