Emma is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with 13+ years of experience in the mental health field. She sees adults (18+) with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, thought disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and co-occurring substance use disorders. She has collaborated with clients to adjust to life transitions, improve personal relationships, grieve the loss of loved ones, build a more robust social life, manage workplace stressors, build self-esteem, recover from trauma and achieve a higher quality of life. Emma tailors her therapeutic approach to the needs and goals of the client. She is non-judgmental, empathic and collaborative. She utilizes attachment-based, trauma-informed, strengths-based, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral (CBT), mindfulness, and dialectical behavioral (DBT) approaches to therapy.
