I believe in creating a calm environment to help guide you through the healing process. My goal is employ compassion, empathy, and care through ongoing engagement upon building rapport. I like to not only educate, but collaboratively work with you (and your loved ones if involved) and encourage growth and motivation for long term change. I have worked with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, everyday difficulties/stressors, child behavioral issues, mood disorders, stress management, military veterans/active duty, and trauma.
I use a variety of approaches tailored to meet your needs that include, but not limited to CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), Motivational Interviewing Techniques, Play Therapy, and Mindfulness. I have experience working in substance abuse settings, mental health hospitals, military setting, and foster care/adoption.
For your convenience & continuous healing during this difficult time, I offer appointments in person & temporarily through video/tele-health.
