Dawn M. Grogan, LCSW
I began my practice in social work while working with foster children in the state's custody. I
have also worked with active-duty military for nine years. I believe this has greatly increased my ability to work with survivors of abuse and trauma. When working with others, I like to find out what their goals are and what they feel they are ready to work on to improve their quality of life. I encourage, validate, and support throughout the therapeutic experience to help someone achieve their goals.
I have personal and professional experience with childhood abuse and suicide that has afforded me the ability to empathize and know firsthand some of the hardships associated with these circumstances. In addition, my professional experience has allowed me to learn some very effective options in helping others.
I genuinely enjoy helping others and seeing them achieve a good quality of life. I look forward to the opportunity to help you identify your goals for therapy. I offer support and guidance to help you get to where you want to go!
