Yes. Many therapy and medication management appointments are available virtually. Our therapists are all licensed in Virginia, but we have therapists who are licensed in Maryland, Washington DC, Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Illinois, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, New Jersey, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Texas, and West Virginia for virtual sessions.
What happens during a first therapy appointment?
Your therapist will learn about your concerns, goals, and history while helping you develop a plan for treatment.
Read more about what your first appointment is like in this article: What Should I Expect in My First Therapy Session?

Yes. We offer ADHD evaluations for children, teens, and adults. If you are interested in testing, you can reach out to us at [email protected] or at (703) 935-0058, Option 4.

Therapy focuses on emotional and behavioral change through counseling, while medication management evaluates whether medication may be beneficial as part of treatment.
There is a provider from your practice I would like to see; can I request them specifically?
Yes, you can! Our staff will still review what you are looking to be seen for and other scheduling information to ensure the provider would be a good fit based on their specialties and times available, but generally we are able to pair patients with their requested provider as long as specialties and schedules align.
Do you offer treatment in any other languages?
We do. While all of our providers speak English, Dr. Goldberg & Associates has providers who also speak Spanish, Arabic, Russian, Romanian, Twi/Ga, Akan, Persian, Farsi, Urdu, and Japanese.
Do you provide any other services?
In addition to therapy, medication management, and psychological testing, we also offer expert testimony, consulting, substance use evaluations, and Immigration Hardship Evaluations. These additional services are generally out-of-pocket since insurance will not cover these services.

Email [email protected] to request a copy of your record. They will send you a form to complete and review the $50.00 fee for administrative expenses with you.
