Dr. Sydjea Green, PhD
Dr. Sydjea Green is a licensed psychologist in Virginia, Maryland, New York, and Texas with a robust background in clinical and forensic mental health services. Since earning her PhD in Clinical Forensic Psychology from Alliant International University in 2016, Dr. Green has dedicated herself to working with diverse populations, including youth, minorities, incarcerated individuals, veterans, and those with severe mental health conditions. Her clinical expertise is rooted in conducting psychological assessments, facilitating both individual and group therapeutic programs, and offering supervision to mental health professionals.
Throughout her career, Dr. Green has gained extensive experience across multiple settings, including correctional facilities, mental health clinics, and hospitals. Her roles have ranged from serving as a Mental Health Clinical Supervisor to conducting disability evaluations for veterans, and providing therapy to individuals. She is particularly passionate about supporting marginalized communities, having worked with incarcerated individuals, minority communities, and individuals in crisis. Her work often involves addressing complex mental health challenges, such as co-occurring disorders, personality and behavioral concerns, and trauma-related issues.
