Dr. Ana Lee Marie Palou-Miranda, PhD
I enjoy working with a variety of patients and have gained great experience with victims of sexual abuse and their families. I have extensive experience with (PTSD) symptoms, anxiety, major Depression Disorder, Axis II Disorders (i.e. Antisocial Behavior Personality, Borderline Personality Disorder), Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective disorder, and suicidal patients.
I provide individual psychotherapy, intervention and assessment with outpatient psychiatric patients with dual diagnosis (i.e. suicidal, homicidal, PTSD, psychotic disorders, substance abuse, legal problems, and personality disorders) using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
I enjoy meeting the patient where they are, forming a connection, and assisting them in processing their past pain so they can have a better life and future.
Dr. Palou-Miranda also speaks Spanish and conducts her sessions via telehealth.
