Dr John Oliveri, Ph.D.

Dr. John Oliveri Ph.D. received his Bachelor of Science from Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois and both his Master of Science and Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Southern California.  He is a Licensed Psychologist in both California and Virginia.  In addition, he is a California Licensed Marriage Family Therapist and certified School Psychologist. Prior to becoming a Psychologist, he was a U.S. Naval Officer, Naval Intelligence and was also a school counselor.  Dr. Oliveri has provided psychological assessment for both children and adults for over 25 years. He has also worked with Individuals and families that are challenged with cognitive/ emotional difficulties.  His specialties include but are not limited to ADHD Psychological testing; and providing therapy for individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and mood disorders.  His approach is eclectic in nature and encompasses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT); Humanistic Existentialism; and short-term goal oriented problem-solving therapy.
