She intentionally creates a safe space to ensure her clients are at ease and comfortable in vulnerable moments. Trained in a myriad of treatment modalities, she is a subject matter expert in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy-- Dr. Smith is well-equipped to serve.
Dr. Smith enjoys working with various populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. Additionally, she has experience working within the Circuit Courts of Cook County, assisting individuals struggling with substance use, mental health, and recidivism.
In her free time she can be found traveling, reading, and enjoying new cuisine. Since returning from the United Kingdom, where she worked for three years, Dr. Smith has found a love of architecture and photography.
Dr Smith works out of our Old Town location.
