Hannah Lee Read, LCSW
In my 10 years as a therapist, I have worked primarily in crisis and inpatient settings with youth and families. This could include people who are experiencing Major Depressive Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Reactive Attachment Disorder, and Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder. I work with youth and adults and also provide parent coaching. My techniques used include: Structural Family Therapy, Systemic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Family Systems Approach. In addition to direct client work, I enjoy providing LCSW clinical supervision to clinical supervision candidates as they complete their requirements to acquire licensure.
I graduated with my Bachelor's degree from James Madison University and my Master's degree from Baylor University. My passion is helping clients navigate difficult situations that are holding them back from thriving.
Hannah works out of our Old Town Alexandria office.
