Kristin is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Virginia. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from George Mason University and her Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Kristin has worked in the field for the past 9 years in a variety of settings and has worked with youth and families in a residential setting. She has experience as an intensive in-home counselor, as school-based case worker, and in adult rehabilitation. Kristin works with children, adolescents, adults, and families struggling with a multitude of challenges such as mood disorders, self-esteem, relationship problems, complex trauma, addiction, and youth defiance. Particular interests include positive parenting, behavioral analyses, and play therapy. Kristin implements a variety of techniques in her work including cognitive-behavioral, solution focused therapy, play therapy, structural therapy, and insight-oriented psychotherapy. Kristin plans to pursue certification as a play therapist in the near future. She is based out of the Reston location.

Kristin is the Clinical Director of our McLean and Reston offices.
