Jason Borges, LCSW
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), licensed in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C., with nearly 20 years of experience helping individuals navigate trauma, addiction, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and other mental health concerns. My approach centers on building genuine relationships, fostering trust, and working collaboratively to explore life’s challenges and identify meaningful solutions.
Change can be uncomfortable and even overwhelming at times, but it’s also an essential part of growth. With years of experience guiding people through difficult transitions, I provide the support and tools needed to navigate these challenges and create lasting, positive change.
I use a Person-Centered approach to understand how past experiences shape current thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors. By integrating evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy, I help clients increase self-awareness, build resilience, and develop practical coping strategies for everyday life.
My practice is grounded in empathy, professionalism, and a trauma-informed perspective, ensuring that each client feels heard, respected, and supported on their journey toward healing and growth. If you’re ready to take the next step, please contact us to schedule your initial appointment.
Jason works out of the Stevenson Office.
