Oshua Symeonides, LPC
If I told you that you could live a happy and fulfilled life would you be interested? We are constantly battling the game of life with new stressors and events that can make the day-to-day seem overwhelming. Together I want work with you on ways to adapt and deal with stressors in an ever-changing world. If you’re ready to be the best version of yourself, let's start today, why wait until tomorrow?
I have worked in many different mental health environments, including inpatient hospitalization, partial hospitalization, private practice, and working virtually doing assessments for hospitals.
The therapy process’ success is reliant on a good relationship between the client and therapist, and that starts with finding the right fit. I like to share a bit about myself to help in this process. The first question I always get is, “How do you pronounce your name?” My name is pronounced Joshua without the J. I love sports of all kinds. However, I am a huge fan of the Steelers, Knicks, Nationals, Ohio State football, and Manchester United. Don’t worry, all fans of other teams are welcome.
On a deeper note, I was inspired to work in mental health care by my own experiences with counseling in my youth. I understand that every mental health journey is unique and I will work to meet you where you are and help you get to where you want to be.
If you are struggling, consider seeking support today. Please contact me so we can take the steps necessary to improve your life today. I look forward to meeting and working with you.
Oshua is based out of our McLean and Vienna office.
