Raven Harris, Psy.D.

Dr. Raven Harris is a licensed clinical psychologist with nearly a decade of experience working in mental health settings across schools, hospitals, community agencies, and outpatient practices. She earned her Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, where she also completed her Master’s degree with a concentration in child and adolescent psychology. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from University of Maryland, College Park. Dr. Harris has spent her career developing a strong foundation in assessment, therapy, and intervention, with specialized training in working with adolescents and young adults.

Dr. Harris has extensive experience supporting adolescents across a wide range of settings, including schools, pediatric hospitals, forensic environments, and community-based programs. She has worked with youth navigating ADHD, autism, learning differences, trauma, mood disorders, and behavioral challenges, and frequently collaborates with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support long-term growth and success. Her approach is integrative, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and family systems frameworks to meet each client’s unique developmental and emotional needs. In addition to therapy, she provides comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments to clarify diagnoses and guide individualized treatment planning.

At the core of Dr. Harris’s work is a deep commitment to social justice and increasing access to high-quality mental health care for marginalized communities. She is passionate about advocacy, outreach, and bridging gaps in care for underserved populations, and she intentionally integrates cultural awareness and systemic understanding into her clinical work. Dr. Harris believes that healing happens in the context of relationships and community, and she strives to create a therapeutic space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow.
